Start from the exact public entry point

The first request may upgrade HTTP, normalize a hostname and follow a managed path before it reaches a landing page. A destination returning 200 does not prove that every published variant works. Check the chain, final host, terminal status and the content a visitor actually receives.

Trace a redirect chain

An incident needs an owner and a verification step

A failure might be a removed page, expired domain, certificate problem or blocked automated request. Inspect the evidence before changing a route. After repair, repeat the request from the original URL and document the recovered path. Automated monitoring is part of the managed-link product in development; follow the manual checks in these guides today.
